Medics tending to Japanese soldier that loss right arm. George Company, 22nd Marine Regiment raised American flag on the North end of Island of Okinawa and later on the southern end of Okinawa. Hands carefully removing a land mine. Scene at Air Station, L-5 Stinson sentinel taxing in background, ambulance and tent in FG. Wounded Marine placed in L-5 “grasshopper” Medical Evacuation plane, plane takes-off. More wounded placed in other L-5s.
