JAPANESE VICTORY PARADE BOMBED BY LONE CHINESE.
A bomb thrown by a lone Chines halts a Nipponese “Victory Parade” through the heart of the Shanghai International Settlement. The bomber pays with his life as ranks are re-formed and British and American forces are kept from business in their own zones by stubborn Japanese sentries. Shows body of Chinese bomber covered with canvass. Crowds wave small Japanese flags as parade of Japanese troops continue.

2 CONVICTS ESCAPE FROM U.S. PRISON ON ALCATRAZ ISLAND.
A pair of convicted prisoners makes a break from “escape-proof” Alcatraz Island the grim rock in San Francisco Bay used for hardened criminals. Ralph Roe and Theodore Cole flee Alcatraz on a home-made raft. Prison officials search the choppy waters of San Francisco Bay. Shows the home-made raft used in the escape. 34th ANNIVERSARY OF EPOCHAL WRIGHT FLIGHT CELEBRATED.
The historic flight made by Wilbur and Orville Wright from Kill Devil Hill in 1903 is commemorated on the anniversary by U.S. Navy planes which fly in beautiful formation over the monument raised to the aerial pioneers.
