KENNEDY MEMORIAL:
In the rolling hills of Judea, not far from Jerusalem, stands the new memorial to President John F. Kennedy. Built by the Israeli government, financed by the Jewish National Fund, some two thousand persons attend the dedication at which Chief Justice Earl Warren is an honored guest.

BERLIN WALL MOVED:
A new, slick, prefabricated wall is to replace the old Berlin Wall, and construction has already started. The new wall will be higher, more modern, and impossible to climb. The new barrier is a renewal of the cold war, following collapse of scheduled East-West German debates and discussions.

MILWAUKEE EESTIVAL:
A glorious, horse-drawn circus parade, the kind granddad knew fifty years ago, is the highlight of the “Old Milwaukee Days” festival. It features fifty antique, genuine circus wagons drawn by teams of purebred draft horses. Clowns, animals, bands…all add to the spectacle.

SPORTS
WIMBLEDON FINALS:
Manuel Santana of Spain wins the men’s singles title at Wimbledon in straight sets, beating America’s Dennis Ralston. America comes back, however, as Mrs. Billie Jean King tops three-time Wimbledon Women’s Singles champ, Maria Bueno of Brazil.
