BIG 4 COME DOWN FROM SUMMIT: Nikita Khrushchev shatters hopes for a Big 4 Summit meeting, and stamps on the ruins at the farewell press conference in which he puts on one of his most emotional displays to date with an insulting tirade repeating his earlier tirade against the U.S. and President Eisenhower personally. The Western leaders depart Paris after intensive efforts to salvage the long-planned conference prove fruitless.
UNION-MANAGEMENT SHOW: In Washington, D.C., the 1960 edition of the Union-Management show cooperatively put on by labor and employers. Hundreds of exhibits show the tremendous range of labor’s crafts and skills.
ZOO CUBS CUT UP: From German, scenes of this spring’s crop of zoo youngsters going through the growing up phase that baffles and sometimes tries the patience of all parents, but delights visitors. Papa Lion has a rough time with a frisky troop of cubs.
