1950
Reel 1, Part 1 shows map of Korea and U.S. troops and supplies disembarking at Pusan. Artillery and mortars fire on advancing North Korean forces and U.S. tanks and infantry move up. Captured Russian equipment is inspected and wounded are evacuated by air from the Taejon airfield. Part 2, the 1st Cavalry Division makes an amphibious landing on the beaches near Pohang, Korea under cover of naval units offshore and Gens. Gay, Plummer, and Wilson inspect the beachhead area. Tanks and motorized equipment roll into Pohang.
