Okinawa May 20, 1945. Combat Team 22, 5th Provisional Rocket Detachment, 6th Marine Division moves truck mounted T-66 (4.5 inch) Rocket Launchers into position and began firing. T-66 Rocket Launchers mounted on 2-1/2 ton trucks are quickly re-loaded, truck re-positioned, and rockets fired. Shows launcher trucks moved into position, rockets fired. Shows rocket launcher trucks leaving launcher area fast after firing last salvo of rockets to avoid becoming targets of enemy artillery. Rare footage of U.S. truck mounted 4.5 inch, T-66 rocket launchers in action in WWII.
